Crossing To the Other Clan

An immigrant's view of the struggle to adjust and a biblical reflection!

I am trying to understand you Jesus
How much the cross meant to you
You adjusting to me so that I can see you
coming to my life, to the dust and the dirt
Yes Jesus I see you now while I am sharing
the pain and the groan of suffering
because I am sharing your suffering a little bit,
living in another land which is different from my own
being misunderstood by many names that are not my own
being seen as different and useless
Yes Jesus I see how you felt when you were here
to make a better life for me
Yes Jesus because of you though I feel this way
I will continue to live your way
To love when I am rejected
to cross even when I feel unwanted
to live not for a club but for a cause
to have a life of eternal use
to respond not to my pain
but to you and your people's gain
to go to the other people's territory
though they do not want me in their story
I have decided Jesus to cross
even when I am not give notice
Jesus you matter most to me
I am not needless I need you
I am not needy I have you
I believe I am needed
though it may not be understood
One day before you I will have a reward
that will make me joyful
I have decided to make your will
adjust my life
to go and cross to the other clan
Oh God please make me your man!
Glory to you AMEN AMEN!

"I am not needless I need you
I am not needy I have you" I like that. It's true.
