LOVE SUNDAYS!
WHERE ARE YOU AFTER SUNDAY?
A Cross Cultural Reflection on The Church's Relationship to The Poor
Sometimes my brother I can't wait until Sunday,
Cause you are different from Monday through Saturday
You hug me smile for me preach to me and also feed me
I love Sundays because it feels like you are there for me
But on Monday you are this different person
Too busy to give me attention
Because you are so much taken
To cross to my world and love
To show me that Jesus is alive
So I am afraid Monday through Saturday
Hidden and hurting for no one comes my way
I come to your way many, many times
You always keep your distance
Oh my brother where is your faith
That stands to take a good cause
You are wonderful on Sundays
I miss your love on other days
Come my brother see how poor I am
Touch me and teach me with your love
Why are you best only on Sundays?
Come see why I am in tears
Get out of your Sunday fence
Let the poor be glad by your message
Be a model in prayer and courage
Where are you brother? I miss you
Let everyday be a Sunday for you
But I still love you!
